Hear ye, hear ye!

Once upon a time in a happy kingdom not so far away from you, there was a king and queen who had an immobile fairy princess.  Because their fairy princess was unable to get from one side of the castle to the other on her own, the king and queen were able to get tasks done around the house, including cleaning (the queen is, daily, very apologetic to the king), cooking dinner without burning it, eating said unburned dinner at the table, and blogging for the people of their kingdom's viewing pleasure.  Well, the king and queen would like to announce that their fairy princess is now a crawling, moving (UH, ZOOMING!) little angel, whose wonder and curiosity spark her to explore any and everything in her path through tactile means.  Since the king and queen now follow the fairy princess everywhere (as there are many dangers and road blocks around the castle, i.e. stairs, tile floors, plants = YIKES!), they usually have very little time in the evening after the princess falls asleep to maintain the tasks they performed before her days of self-propelled movement.  After preparing for the next day (4:30 a.m. comes nice and early for the queen: NEED COFFEE.  BADLY.), the queen passes out (well, not really, but you get the point) from exhaustion while the king unwinds (albeit briefly) in front of the television before following in the queen's footsteps upstairs to bed.  However, the king and queen want you to know that they hope you've had a marvelous kick off to your new year in your kingdom, and summon you to set a goal for yourself - to give your life some kind of meaning or devote your time to something bigger than yourself, perhaps giving you a greater purpose.  And, on a side note, although they've affectionately dubbed themselves king and queen for this post, they are not that self-indulgent (despite what some of you may say)!  Little Miss O, though...well, she always has been, still is, and always will be a fairy princess.  Once we catch up on rest (and take some pics. - that new video camera is really getting in the way!), we'll post again soon!
