Our first complete day in paradise!
Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, Olivia woke up at 5 am! So we listened to the "doodle doos" in the darkness, lavished in the sound of the ocean, and enjoyed our first morning.
Eventually, the sun began to rise over the mountains!
Emily, in need of coffee! And lots of it!
After our relaxing morning, we got ready and set off to explore the Maui scenery. Love, love, love seeing hibiscus flowers in all their magnificent glory everywhere!
We spent the morning driving up the coast to places we remembered and wanted to visit again... i.e. Honolua Bay and its lush surrounding forest.
After we scoped out the cove for a future snorkeling trip, we hit up Snorkel Bob's for some rental snorkel and beach gear! I am beyond thankful that this is the closest we came to "Jaws!"
In the afternoon, we splashed in the waters lapping the shore of our home away from home. Olivia loved boogie boarding!

For dinner, we set out for Paia town... craving some fare from the sea cooked to Hawaiian perfection! On the ride there, someone had her own idea of "fish" for dinner!
After dinner at the Paia Fish Market (a favorite from our honeymoon), we headed back to settle in for the night!
